Big Buddha

The Big Buddha, also called the Tian Tan Buddha (天壇大佛), is located in Ngong, Lantau Island. It is built beside the Po Lin Monastery. It is the largest outdoor bronze buddha in the world, therefore making it a popular tourist attraction. The Buddha symbolises the harmonious relationship between man and nature; people and religion. It is a major centre of Buddhism.

I recommend you go there by cable car, as it is the newest transportation, and the scenery from the booth is amazing. There is now a crystal cable car, in which the floor of the booth is also made of glass. I guarantee you the trip will be exciting and incredible.
